First Day of Camp: Sunday, June 15, 2025
​
Location: Diamond Arrow, 15742 N Bloomfield Rd, Nevada City, CA 95959- cell service is minimal. We suggested your print out the attached directions or write them down, while easy to find maps isnt always reliable with the cell towers!

Registration opens at 9:30 AM. Please arrive between 9:30 and noon to get checked, meet the health director, receive your cabin assignment and lanyard, and settle in.

Grades 8–12 choir and all orchestra campers may have short musical interviews during check-in or first rehearsal.

Counselors will be ready with icebreaker games and your camp t-shirt. It’s a great chance to connect with new and returning campers.

Bring a picnic lunch for your family or a bag lunch and a snack for your camper. The first official camp meal will be dinner.

Parents, please plan to leave no later than 12:30 PM so campers can jump into their first rehearsals, orientation, and the all-camp photo.
Important reminder: pets are not allowed on-site. Diamond Arrow does not permit animals for any reason.

Additional Camp Reminders

No cash needed. Tuition includes all activities and snacks

Sweatshirts are available at registration for $40, while supplies last. If you pre-ordered, yours will be ready for pickup at registration.

All medications (including vitamins) must be turned in at registration in a labeled Ziplock with clear instructions.

EVERY CAMPER will meet with our Health Director, Dwight, and assistant Melissa. Please, if your camper has had a fever, vomiting, or diarrhea within the past 48 hours, please wait until they are fully recovered before coming to camp — it's always better to arrive a little late than risk spreading illness to others. We're in close quarters all week, so let's look out for one another and keep our camp community healthy and safe.

TALENT NIGHT: Due to no cell phones at camp, if you have an audio file needed for a talent night act, please email the name/file to us asap so we can make sure our DJ/Sound Master Mike has everything he needs for you!

You may drop off letters and care packages at registration or mail them. Please do not send items with peanuts, we are a nut-free camp!

Camp is a no-device zone. That means no phones, smartwatches, or wireless electronics for campers or counselors. Let’s be present and enjoy the week to the fullest. Annual Fundraiser BBQ
Join us right after the concert for our annual celebration and fundraiser

Fundraiser Lunch $12. Day-of tickets are very limited. Snag tickets at registration. Final head count due Tuesday while at camp!

All proceeds support our camper scholarship program- we gave over $9000 in scholarships this year alone!

Telephone Calls: There are limited emergency phone lines at the camp. These must be kept clear for business & emergency purposes; parents may call campers ONLY IN CASE OF EMERGENCY. Do not give out numbers to the camper's friends, please!! Diamond Arrow Camp Site Manager - (530) 265-3295. Campers may call home only with the permission of staff. Cell phones or wireless devices under any circumstances are NOT allowed at camp. We don't have cell service and don't want them lost or damaged. Any found will be stored until the end of the camp and returned only to the camper's parents.

Our Venue
Diamond Arrow Conference Center in the Sierra Foothills is a premium camp site located 6 miles from Nevada City and 2 miles from the beautiful Yuba River! It is located on 375 acres and has a capacity of 468 campers with handicap accessibility which will enable our program to grow, Grow, GROW!!! 15742 N Bloomfield Rd, Nevada City, CA 95959. FAQ
Are we a faith-based camp?
​

While our venue may be Diamond Arrow Christian Conference Center we are not affiliated with nor do we practice a specific faith at camp. All our campers and staff are entitled to their own beliefs and we support that. However, we are a "PG" rated camp. This means we adhere to strict behavior, language, and dress guidelines to protect the fact that we are an all-ages camp. (4th grade- college)

We have an amazing DA kitchen staff team offering 3 hot meals and 2 snacks per day for your camper. A FULL salad bar is available with every lunch and dinner. Snack shack 2x daily does not require an additional $. Everything is included with tuition!

Vegetarian and Gluten-Free options are available (fee required from the venue). Available with online registration.​

Cabin Guidelines:
​
-
All cabins are separated by age/grade. In addition to sleeping arrangements and bathrooms, our camp is separated by gender. Campers can request friends or family on their registration form. We do our best to accommodate all grade/age/gender-matched requests. Every cabin has 1-3 trained counselors to assist in campers' support. In addition, our 20+ staffers are housed all throughout camp and are always available.

Registration Additions:

Items such as zip line wrist band, sweatshirts, Celebration BBQ, and Concert tickets are all available online during registrations. Additionally, you can always log back into your ACTIVE account to update, add or remove or pay the balance.

Zip Line Wrist Band: We offer unlimited zip line, ropes course, and rock wall with a $15 zip line wrist band. Not required with registration.

Sweatshirts: Can be purchased online with registration for $30 adult S-XL, pre-orders close May 15th. We will have a small amount available on registration day for $40. Sizes and colors are limited.

Registration drop-off is on Sunday at @9:30 a.m. All parents must leave by 12:30 p.m.

Counselors arrive Saturday before camp and have been given detailed instructions from our Activities Director Nichole. Email smmcactivities@gmail.com for additional information.

Parents and Campers: Lunch is not provided on the first day of camp, please bring a sack lunch for you and/or your family. (Families are more than welcome to stay on campus until 12:30 and help get your camper settled) Please make sure all campers are dropped off at 12:30 p.m.(unless prior arrangements have been made). Camp Orientation/Rehearsal is at 1:00 p.m.

CONCERT- PLEASE REMEMBER:

BBQ: A celebration BBQ will immediately follow the concert. Adults are $10 and children 5 and under $7. Tickets can be purchased with your online registration or at camper registration drop-off. All tickets must be purchased by 6/18/2024.
What is the cancellation policy?
-
All deposits are 100% refundable until 5/15 If a refund is requested after 5/15 a $75 musical and t-shirt fee will be applied. No full-tuition refunds after 6/1.
