Sierra Mountain Music Camp has added a wonderful asset to the camp in recent years – Peter Van Alstyne volunteers his time at camp as an onsite repairman and teaches string players the inner workings of their instruments. In addition to his on site repair shop (for everything from violins to a string bass), Pete has an area where campers can learn about the inner-workings of instruments, and helps the music sounds its very best.
