Welcome to Sierra Mountain Music Camp
Sierra Mountain Music Camp 2009

Sierra Mountain Music Camp's 15th season is only a week away!  Some campers have even started packing, so it's definitely time to get ready for an amazing week.

Since the time is near, there is some important information to keep in mind:

What to Pack:  A packing list can be found on our Forms page, as well as directions to Diamond Arrow (Forms & Rules).

When to Arrive:  Plan to arrive between 9:00 - 11:00 am on Sunday, June 21, 2009.  Orchestra & Symphony students will be assigned their audition time on arrival, and registration begins at 9:00 am.  Please bring a lunch for your family or a bag lunch for your camper since the first meal served at camp is dinner, and parents should plan to leave no later than 1:00 pm so that campers can attend orientation and have their first rehearsals.

Last Day:  Campers will eat lunch, and then have a dress rehearsal concert.  Please do not arrive before 1:30 pm, and please do not disturb the dress rehearsal in progress.

Concert, Sunday, June 28, 2009 at 5:00 pm:  We are scheduled to have a formal concert at Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church in Fair Oaks.  Please invite friends and relatives!  Please have your camper at Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church at 2:00 pm for orientation and warm-up.   Further information will be included with the check-out packets given to campers on Saturday, June 27, 2009.

Camp is Quickly Approaching!

June 21st is just around the corner, and registration is still open for all performance groups!  So send in your forms and your tuition so that you can be included in our 15th Season of Sierra Mountain Music Camp.

We realize that times are tough, and we do not wish to increase any hardships for campers, so our Nonprofit Board of Directors has voted and approved to waive all late registration fees for the 2009 camp session.  Payments are still due prior to camp, but no late fees will be charged this season.

Limited scholarships are still available, so please contact our office either at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , or by calling at (916) 967-SONG (7664).

The camper referral program is also still available to all campers, including campers who have already registered - if you let a friend know about Sierra Mountain Music Camp, and they register for the first time as a full paid camper, both you and your friend will receive $50.00 off your tuition!  Just make sure that both you and your friend include each others names in the "Registration Code" section of the Registration Form.

Questions?  Let us know how we can help you.  Email Us, or call us at (916) 967-SONG (7664).

Registration is STILL OPEN!

We are still taking registrations for this year's camp - so take a moment and register!  We're still needing singers for the Junior Boys Choir, and the Senior Boys Choir, and need instrumentalists for our Prelude Strings.  All other performing groups are also accepting registrations at this time, so send in your forms, and your deposit!

Don't forget about our Camper Referral Program!  If you let a friend know about SMMC, and they register for camp for the first time as a full paid camper, both you and your friend will receive $50.00 off your tuition!

How does it work?

Find a friend to bring to camp for the first time
Make sure that both you and your friend include each other's names in the "Registration Code" section of the full registration form (located on our website)
Now you can each enjoy a $50.00 savings to camp!

Slideshow

Sierra Mountain Music Camp is not just about the concert.  There is so much that happens during the week, and in 2008 we were lucky enough to have one of our volunteers create an entire slideshow of SMMC 2008.  This is just a glimpse of the fun that happens at camp.

So enjoy, and let’s create some more memories for 2009!

A community slide show from 2008. Thank you Alumni!
